New therapy available for Huron Shores Hospice residents

At Huron Shores Hospice we believe in ensuring our residents live every day to its fullest until the end.

In doing so we offer many different supplemental therapies that bring comfort to our residents. We have welcomed Olivia Sadler, Registered Massage Therapist, who specializes in palliative massage, to our team to come into hospice and do specialized massage for our residents.

Olivia Sadler has been a long-time resident of Bruce County and a Registered Massage Therapist since 2005. She has worked in several clinics and home-based practices all while providing a variety of gentle, therapeutic and deep tissue massages. Once a new mother herself, Olivia became interested in massage for labor and delivery and completed a 4-day Doula Training workshop. She has since attended 13 baby deliveries and massaged the laboring mother throughout their birthing experience. After the loss of several elderly clients and family members, Olivia continued her training and completed the Palliative Massage Certification program and has recently shifted her career to focus on both infant and palliative mobile massage therapy in Saugeen Shores. She is in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and has also met the requirements to join our team at Huron Shores Hospice.

Olivia will be available for end-of-life massage as requested by our residents.
