*Please note: In an effort to keep our community safe we will be following the same COVID protocols for this event that we follow in the hospice. All guests and volunteers must be fully vaccinated to enter the premises and must show proof of vaccination on entry. No refunds will be issued unless the event must be cancelled due to new COVID restrictions. If event cancellation takes place a full refund will be offered.
Handbags for Hospice Returns This Fall!
Planning for the 2022 Handbags for Hospice event is in full swing and we can't wait to welcome all our guests back to this important fundraising event. We are calling on "The Power of the Purse" as we aim to raise $160,000 in support of Huron Shores Hospice.
Tickets will be $65.00 and will go on sale August 5th, 2022 at 7:30 am. More details to follow so check back here often and sign up for our newsletter!

Handbags for Hospice is an annual gala that brings together 170 women for a fabulous evening of handbags, food, drink, laughs, fun and fundraising to celebrate the Power of the Purse. The Last handbags event in 2019 was a glamourous fundraising gala, which raised over $180,000. We look forward to welcoming back our Handbags for Hospice event in 2022. This year’s empowering evening consists of live and silent auctions of over ninety designer handbags, luxury experiences and getaways, as well as a wine wall, trivia game and a premium prize raffle. The evening will once again feature the high-energy, entertainment-packed Layne, The Auctionista. In the past, this event sold out in a few hours and we expect this year’s event to sell out quickly as well!
On Thursday, September 15, 2022, Huron Shores Hospice will host our 6th annual gala at Kincardine’s Pavilion to raise funds that will help sustain our two-bed residential suites. All proceeds from the gala will go to our community hospice and programming to ensure that quality end-of-life care and grief recovery is available for your friends, family and neighbours.

Wine Wall Contest!
From now until August 3rd, donate a $20+ bottle of wine and your name will be entered into a draw to WIN 2 tickets to this year's Handbags for Hospice event!
Here's how to donate to enter the draw:
1. Purchase a bottle of wine (must be $20+)
2. Write your NAME, ADDRESS and EMAIL on the back of the wine receipt (this information is required for donation receipt and draw)
3. Drop the wine and the receipt off at Sleepers Bed Gallery, 828 Queen St, Kincardine or email firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange alternative drop-off or pick-up.
The draw will be made August 4th, 2022, the DAY BEFORE Tickets go on sale!
