A Little Bridge Club with a Big Heart: Celebrating the Kincardine Bridge Club

Since the very beginning of Huron Shores Hospice, the Kincardine Bridge Club has been there, consistently and compassionately supporting hospice care in our community. Their generosity is a beautiful reminder that when people come together with purpose, the impact can be extraordinary.

Since 2017, the Kincardine Charity Bridge Club has donated more than $30,000 to Huron Shores Hospice. This year, they are once again honouring hospice care with a heartfelt gift of $7,500, continuing a tradition of giving that has helped ensure comfort, dignity, and peace for residents and families during life’s most tender moments.

Known affectionately as “the little bridge club with the big heart,” the club brings players of all levels together for friendship, fun, and friendly competition. As a volunteer-run, ACBL-sanctioned club, they dedicate the proceeds from their games to local charities—turning time spent around the card table into meaningful support for the community they love.

Their ongoing generosity aligns beautifully with our year-end campaign, Ripple of One: Creating Waves of Compassion. Each game played, each hand dealt, and each donation made creates a ripple that extends far beyond the club—touching the lives of hospice residents, families, and caregivers across our region.
