About The Speaker:Â
With 46 years of experience in bereavement, trauma work, and hospice palliative care, Eugene Dufour is a distinguished figure in the field. As a past president of the Ontario Palliative Care Association and the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association, he brings a wealth of knowledge to his lectures and workshops.
Eugene's commitment to palliative care has been recognized with prestigious awards, including the Commemorative Medal for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth 2nd’s Golden Jubilee and the Doctor Dorothy Ley Award of Excellence in Hospice Palliative Care.
Eugene recently retired from the position of Psychosocial Spiritual Care Clinician with the Huron Perth Palliative Care Outreach Team. Despite retiring, Eugene continues to teach, consult, and provide workshops on grief, trauma, compassion fatigue, and self-care. Join us for this unique opportunity to learn from a seasoned expert in the field.
