Message from the Board of Directors: Covid-19

Effective immediately all programs at Huron Shores Hospice are cancelled until further notice, due to precautions outlined by the Ministry of Health and our local Health Unit. This will include all Grief Recovery groups, Death Cafes, training, orientation, committee and board meetings.

The hospice suite remains open for the admittance and all potential residents will be screened by our Medical Director, Damian Gunaratne for COVID-19 before admittance. We will work with the family on a case-by-case basis regarding visitation and the required support of their loved one. Comfort Care Volunteers are not permitted to provide comfort care in the suite at this time.

We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause. It is our hope this will keep everyone in our community safe.
